Joint Stuck?!Sketches and Scrap Our Stash September Challenge

I did this layout earlier in the month but as I am working 3 days a week in Melbourne at the moment plus working from home I don't seem to have much time for blogging etc, but after finishing another 2 layouts last night I am determined to get them all blogged tonight.
First up is one for the joint Stuck?!Sketches  Sept 1st sketch and Scrap Our Stash Stash Challenge #30, which was to use items beginning with the letters that make up LAYERS.

Here is my effort:

Some photos from our holiday to the Gold Coast last December. Eleanor and I had our photo taken with Foghorn Leghorn at Movie World.

Here are a couple of close ups:

My stash items are:
L = Leaves
A = American Crafts (the yellow background paper) and arrow
Y = Yellow
E = Enamel dots
R = Rhinestones
S = Stickers, Stitching, Spray

And here is the sketch it is based on:

Stuck?! Sketches May 1st Sketch

Hi, back with another layout- one I completed last week but which I've only had time to photograph today.
This one is for the May 1st sketch over at Stuck?!. I kept pretty much to the sketch. I used the balloons in the top right hand corner for my colour inspiration. I have used some Amy Tan papers and a Super Star from Charms Creations. We made our usual pilgrimage to The Block Open for Inspection a couple of week ago. There was certainly less of a crowd this time. Eleanor had her photo taken with Jess and Ayden.

Stuck?! Feb 15th sketch

As soon as I saw Kaisercraft's Shine Bright collection I was struck by the bold yellow and black combination. I held off buying it but finally relented a couple of days ago. On Friday night I spent the evening scrapping with some friends and managed to get this layout done for the Feb 15th sketch over at Stuck?! Sketches. I added some rub ons and some speciality paper  from the Kaisercraft Garage Days collection as these matched the theme of my layout. I also used a Charms Creations star and some little metal cogs I found amongst my stash.

And a couple of close ups -

And here is the sketch on which my layout is based:

I think you'll be seeing a lot more of Shine Bright!

Stuck?! Sketches Nov 1st sketch

Good morning. I hope you all had a good weekend. I managed to get a little scrapping down but mainly for DT work.

One layout I finished last week was for the first November sketch over at Stuck?!Sketches

Here is my interpretation:

This Bo Bunny Zippedee Doodle is another collection I've had for a while but never used. It seemed perfect to go with these photos of my daughters Doodle art on Starbucks coffee cups. Starbucks is her head to place when we go into the city and we often take our cups out and wash them so she has some to decorate.

Here is the sketch which my page is based on:

Stuck?! Sketches 1st Sept sketch

Hi,
Back with another layout. This is the 13th I've completed this month. Really pleased to get back into the scrapping groove.
Last weekend DD and I went to The Block Glasshouse Open for Inspection. She got her photo taken with some of the contestants and with Kyle and Kara from Fans v Faves, who were her favourite couple last year. Everyone waiting in line was given a pink t-shirt to wear to promote the Breast Cancer Council. It had the logo 'Real men wear pink' on it. I decided to scrap a page about it.
Here is my take on the Stuck?! sketch for 1st September.

and here is the sketch it was based on.

You never know I might get one or 2 more pages finished this month!

Stuck?! Sketches June 1st sketch

I've managed to find time to do one of the sketch challenges at Stuck?! this month.
I had a go at the June 1st sketch.
Here is my take:

Mickey Mouse seemed to one of the current trends around. DD bought a few Mickey/Minnie Mouse tops and Typo brought out a range of Mickey/Minnie stationary lines so I snapped up some. They were vintage looking so I gave my photos a 1960's look. I managed to persuade DD to wear some Minnie ears!
Here are some close ups:

And here is the sketch my layout is based upon. I rotated 90 degrees.

Stuck?! Sketches March 1 sketch

It's been a while since I shared something. I'm having a bit of a lull in my mojo at the moment. DH is unemployed again so is home all the time at the moment. Plus I've been getting into photography so we have been out and about taking photos.
Anyway, here is a layout I did for the first March sketch over at Stuck?! It took me ages to do. I ended up using a mixture of Teresa Collins He said, She said and some embellies from Glitz Designs Dapper Dan and a Greatest View Flair and a little resin moustache from The Trinket Track.

 And here are some close ups.

And here is the sketch I based my layout on.

Stuck Sketches Jan challenge #1 and Frosted Designs

 Good evening. First layout down for 2014. I decided to enter the combined Stuck Sketches and Frosted Designs challenge, which was to use the Stuck Sketch and to use either, paint, ink or mist or a combination of the three. I used ink through a stencil and in the form of stamping using a Kaisercraft stamp. I also splattered a bit of red mist around the page. On Christmas Day I managed to persuade the family to cooperate in a Christmas photo shoot. These are some of the photos of my 2 kids mucking around. I again used Glitz Designs Finnley.

And here are some close ups:
