Good morning!.
Flourish With A Bling is the main prize sponsor over at Scrap Around The World  Scrap Around The World was created by Helen Tilbury in April 2013.  Since then it has evolved, and will continue to evolve, according to player feedback & experience, into the IT place for scrapbookers to see and to be seen!

And this is February’s stunning mood board:
SATW guest FEB

Everyone on the FWAB design team was asked to be guest designers this month.
Here is my take on the mood board:

I just couldn't go past the colours and at the time I had been playing with my Twinkling H2O's so created my background using them on watercolour paper and a stencil. The Stars part of the title is was created using some left over pieces of chipboard and a gold Sharpie pen. I used FWAB Chloe Pearl Flourish in Antique Gold, FWAB Jasmin Laser Flourish in Gold and some FWABadhesive pearls in Plum.
Here is a close up of my FWAB laser flourish.

Scrap Around The World January Challenge

After not getting around to doing last months challenge  at SATW I managed to get this month completed.

This is a cheeky photo of my daughter buried in the sand by her brother at a local beach.

Here are some close ups. I used the whole Elise flourish and flower set from FWAB.

I love working with texture paste of all types. This one is from Viva Decor and is called stone art but actually it looks a lot like sand when dry.

Another close up of my Elise flourish and flower.

Here is the inspiration board that it is based on.
I took inspiration from the colours, the beach photo, the texture on the cups and the string in the bottom right corner.
Thanks for looking.

Scrap Around the World November Challenge

I enjoyed doing last months Scrap Around the World challenge and loved the inspiration for this month. Lots of bright colours and  rainbows.
Here is the inspiration board:
ENTRIES CLOSE MIDNIGHT EST 30 NOV 2013

I knew as soon as I saw the inspiration board what I wanted to do. My inspiration comes from the rainbow colours and the heart at the bottom right. I thought it would be a good way to showcase the rainbow of colours of embellishments available at The Trinket Track. Every embellishment on here is from The Trinket Track except for the flower shaped sequins, some small resin dots and a couple of bling stars.
I had fun creating it but was glad when I'd finished glueing on the 191 embellishments! Just in case you're wondering what I used to glue them on - I used Helmar 450 glue which is a stong fast drying glue.

Here are some close ups of all the embellishments - blue, purple and pink

- Red, orange and yellow

- Yellow and green

- Green and blue

- Orange and yellow

Well, that's it from me.

Scrap Around the World October challenge

Good morning  I have a layout for you using some Trinket Track goodies. I was inspired to create this layout for the Scrap Around the World challenge this month using the lovely new Anna Maria patterned paper from Prima. I created my doily background using some texture paste and a Kaisercraft mask.

I have used 3 different flowers from the shop - Manor House Creations - Mayglo; Green Tara - white paper roses; and Sequin flower - Spearmint.

A filigree butterfly and pearl flower centre.

and a wooden frame

I also scattered some loose pearls on my page.

Here is the mood board for this month. I was inspired by the top right hand photo of the pink flowers (which reminded me of the pink MHC flowers) and the doilies and also the floral china in the bottom right hand photo.

Thanks for looking.
