Charms Creations Mid monthly challenge April - May

Well, I have all my DT work for this month out of the way and have really been itching to scrap some challenges.
I decided to start with the Mid Monthly challenge at Charms Creations which was a mood board inspiration challenge.

I'm on a bit of an economy drive so decided to delve into my scrap stash for this one except for the Charms Creations Heavenly Heart with butterfly, which was a very recent purchase and only arrived yesterday!

So here goes:

I got a macro lens for my birthday last month and managed to persuade my daughter Eleanor to pose for me so got a few nice shots of her. She was wearing a teal dress but it came out aqua in the photos so I decided to make it sepia to go with this old Prima Madelaine collection. I also pulled out lots of flowers from Flourish with a Bling, Prima and Kaisercraft.

And some close ups:

My Charms Heavenly Heart with wooden butterfly. Love the colours of this one.

I created my background by stencilling using some Viva Decor crackle medium and then mixed two gelatoes with water and painted on the background.

An old Kaisercraft silk flower made a good background and there is a wooden heart from Typo.

More flowers and some chipboard from Prima then went with the collection.

And here is the inpiration board

I really enjoyed making this one.

Oh baby (FWAB reveal)

Today I have the full reveal that I shared on the FWAB blog last week. It is a  featuring my daughter when she was a baby, lots of stencils and lots of FWAB!
I created my background using 3 different stencils along with texture paste and inks. I also stamped using a background music stamp and ink. I used some beautiful Prima Anna Maria patterned paper. I cut the doily out with my Silhouette. Then I added lots of flowers and bling.

Here you can see the wonderful shimmer on the FWAB Jasmin Laser Flourish in pale pink.

I also used a FWAB Grace Pearl Flourish in Mango and added individual mango pearls from the 100 adhesive pack to the texture dots on my layout.

Finally, I added a pink  Elise flower , which matched the colours perfectly.

Sassy Scrapper scraplift Oct challenge

Good morning. Another Prima Anna Marie layout!! I've decided I'm going to use it all up to the last scrap. Don't know if I will but this is my 3rd layout using it.
This one is for the challenge over at Sassy Scrappers. The challenge is to scraplift one of the DT's projects from October.

I decided to scraplift the talented Shell Carmen's layout Santa Kid. I actually had the pleasure of sitting next to Shell at the recent Ladies of the Manor retreat and saw her create it IRL.

Anyway here is my version. I pretty much used Shell's as a sketch.

I've also decided recently to start using up things I've been hoarding. Things I love but can't bear to use up. This Prima flower is one example. I've had it for a number of years.

Another Prima flower but this time a more recent purchase.

I so liked the mix of texture paste and Kaisercraft doily that I used on one of my previous layouts that I used it again here instead of the paper doily on Shell's layout.

And here is Shell's original.

I still have a bit of Anna Marie left so you'll probably see another layout or 2 of it.

Scrap Around the World October challenge

Good morning  I have a layout for you using some Trinket Track goodies. I was inspired to create this layout for the Scrap Around the World challenge this month using the lovely new Anna Maria patterned paper from Prima. I created my doily background using some texture paste and a Kaisercraft mask.

I have used 3 different flowers from the shop - Manor House Creations - Mayglo; Green Tara - white paper roses; and Sequin flower - Spearmint.

A filigree butterfly and pearl flower centre.

and a wooden frame

I also scattered some loose pearls on my page.

Here is the mood board for this month. I was inspired by the top right hand photo of the pink flowers (which reminded me of the pink MHC flowers) and the doilies and also the floral china in the bottom right hand photo.

Thanks for looking.
