Scrap the Girls April Challenge

Hi,
I loved the colours and feel of the Inspiration Board over at Scrap the Girls this month so felt compelled to have ago.

So here is my take using the lovely Free Spirit paper and die cuts from Cocoa Vanilla. I added some embellishments from D-Lish Scraps and Charms Creations.

And here are some close ups:

I added some touches of gold with some gold embossing and the last gold B and alphas.

Scrap the Girls March Challenge

I actually got this finished last week but have been sick for a week so am such getting around to posting it now. The challenge at Scrap the Girls this month was a sketch challenge.

Here is my take on it:

My daughter considers 13 to be her lucky number as she was born on the 13th and had a number of good things happen to her on the 13th.

Here is the sketch I based it on:

Scrap the Girls May challenge

Over at Scrap the Girls, they've got an awesome prize this month of a Fancy Pants Flutter Kit. I love this range so pulled out all stops to create this layout for it based on the sketch provided. I used another photo of Eleanor that I took with my new macro lens and used some pp from a Kaisercraft Rustic Heritage collection pack that I got free at the Crop for a Cause day on Saturday. I also added a couple of scraps from Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom and from Bo Bunny. I also used some of the Collectables from the Rustic Heritage range. I used a mix of Peterloo, Prima, Kaisercraft and D-Lish Scraps flowers and added some bling from Flourish with a Bling. For the background I stencilled some Imagine Crafts Creative Medium Metallic Texture Paste in Gold which I got from the Scrapbook Boutique here and some ordinary texture paste.

Here are a couple of close ups:

Scrap the Girls January challenge

I'm no a roll - second layout this week! This one is for the Scrap the Girls January challenge which this month is a sketch.

I kept fairly close to the sketch and used Kaisercraft Cherry Blossom papers and collectables. I also used some flowers from D-lish Scraps and Manor House Creations which I sprayed with a combination of cherry and peach Heidi Swapp colour shine.

And here are some close ups:

Scrap the Girls Oct Challenge

This month the challenge at Scrap the Girls is a recipe challenge. You have to include:
hexagon, circle, rectangle, strips and a squiggle on your page.

Here is my take.

I created another layout using Kaisercraft True Romance. I created hexagons with texture paste through a stencil. I created a circle of pearls. My rectangle is my photo mat and under the photo I have used strips of paper. My squiggle is the bakers twine.

And here's a couple of close ups.

Scrap the Girls July challenge

The challenge over at Scrap the Girls this month is to scrap a page using the quote "How sweet it is to be loved by you".
I ended up scrapping another photo from Mother's Day this year as I ended up with so many nice ones of me and the kids. For this one I have used Fancy Pants What a Wonderful Day collection. I added a homemade felt flower and some cork clouds from The Trinket Track.

And here's a close up of my subtitle and embellishments.

Off to try and get some more challenges done before the end of the month.
