Full reveal of Rainbow Splendour guest designer page

Hi,

Just realised I haven't shared the full version of the page I created for my guest designer spot at  Rainbow Splendour earlier this month. I'm enjoying scrapping my 17 year old son at the moment. We bought him this suit for his valedictory dinner, which was a couple of nights ago. Hard to believe he will be leaving school next week and his exams will all be over in a month.

For the background I sprayed some Glimmer mist through a Kaisercraft stencil. Then I added the little dots using Viva Decor Ferro and a Crafters Workshop stencil. Then I stamped a few times with Distress ink and my favourite stamp from Scrap FX. Finally I added some raw chipboard chicken wire. I used a mix of Echo Park pp and a mix of embellishments from Rainbow Splendour - the fabric pinwheel, the heart and the felt chevron, Little Yellow Bicycle and Pink Paislee.

Here are a few close ups:

Thanks for looking

FWAB / Rainbow Splendour Product Swap

Last week over on the FWAB blog we had a week of projects using Flourish with a Bling and Rainbow Splendour products. Chloe who is on the Design Team at FWAB is the owner of Rainbow Splendour and she supplied us with some of her cute felt and die cut products to use. Be sure to go to her blog and check her work out.
Here is what I created:

Rainbow Splendour products used were a black glitter foam poloroid frame and a couple of white glitter foam feathers.

 I also created a card

For this I used the the remaing flourishes and the frame from FWAB Bella Rhinestone flourishes and I matched this with Rainbow Splendour feathers in white, black and spotty vellum and a grey felt bow. Here are a couple of close ups.

Hope to be back tomorrow to share something special.

FWAB July Challenge

Good morning, I thought it was about time I shared with you FWAB's July challenge. This month Amy Prior has set a recipe challenge which is to include:
1 piece of FWAB
2 other embellishments
3 flowers
4 patterned papers
5 pieces of confetti or pearls
It was my turn to provide a sample so here is my take on the challenge

Another Mickey Mouse layout. My FWAB piece was a FWAB Elise black flourish which I cut into 2. I also used a FWAB black Maddison flower as one of my 3 flowers. The other 2 were handmade felt flowers.

I used 5 FWAB individual adhesive red pearls.

My 2 embellishments were a red felt arrow from {scrAp this!}

And a Rainbow Splendour felt star stick

For my patterned paper I used some paper from the Queen and Co Magic range.

Don't forget to enter your take on the challenge to the FWAB gallery by July 31st and you could be in the running to win a pack of FWAB goodies.

Good luck!
