I was inspired by the colours of the wool, the triangles on the cloth, the chevrons on the party cups and the circles in the gumball machine.

CSI and Purple Pumpkin

Good morning again. Here's a layout I recently did for CSI challenge #76 and used lots of Purple Pumpkin goodies on it too.

These are some previously unscrapped photos of my now 14 year old DD on her second birthday clutching her Bear in the Big Blue House bear that she got for her birthday.

And now for some close ups. Here is a spotty button top and some red striped washi tape, some ribbon, ric rac and a punched corrugated star.

Another spotty button top. I just love these. Also a Studio Calico wood veneer number 2 and another corrugated star.

Scrap Your Story Challange 19 Childhood

Good morning. I'm sitting here at home recovering from an operation on Monday and have my laptop sitting on my lap and am endeavouring to use it without my mouse so please excuse if there are any errors in this.

It's been a while since I joined in with the challenges at Scrap Your Story  but couldn't resist joining in this week with the childhood theme. I decided to scrap this photo of my son feeding himself. 

My inspiration for this layout came form the bib my 4 month old son is wearing. I decided to emulate the colours and the balloons.

And now for some close ups. I love the bright wooden doilies at The Trinket Track and used one as the base for my sentiment.

Here's a look at the cork clouds, sequins and resin dotty buttons I used.

And just look at the great texture on the sculpey star. I have added glitter puffy number stickers to the sculpey shapes.

July challenge at Flourish with a Bling

Barb has set a picture inspiration challenge this month over at Flourish with a Bling.

All you have to do is use this photo for inspiration and include some FWAB on your item. Layouts, cards and OTPs welcome. Upload to the FWAB gallery and you could be in the running for some fabulous FWAB goodies.

New Purple Pumpkin sketch challenge up

July is here and we have a new sketch by Debbie Burns  to inspire you!!!

Here is my interpretation of the sketch. I kept it fairly simple as the photo was quite busy.

I used: cupcake flair button, spotty button top which I altered (I changed the pink button to a purple button to match the cupcake icing), a spotty fabric button and some twine.

You have until the end of the month to complete this Sketch Challenge and link it up in our sidebar by midnight 31st of July 2013. There will be two fabulous Purple Pumpkin prizes!

$25 & 15$ to spend in the Purple Pumpkin shop - one winner will be chosen by the design team, and the second will be a random prize draw. Winner gets to Guest Design in a future month - once they have received their Purple Pumpkin product of course!
