Show us your stuff October challenge

The October challenge at SUYS is base on a sketch by the talented Leonie Neal-Dawson. Here is my take on it using October Afternoon Sidewalks. 

And here is a close up showing one of the handmade felt roses I used and a Purple Pumpkin spotty button (perfect addition to any layout).

Anna's Craft Cupboard October sketch challenge

Hi everyone from a windy but warm Victoria. Over the weekend I managed to get the sketch challenge done over at Anna's Craft Cupboard. Here is my take:

Products used: Echo Park:  Note to self Note patterned paper, alphas and stickers

Purple Pumpkin: Light blue spotty button and vinyl heart

Studio Calico: Wood veneer person and arrow.

Scrap the Girls October Challenge

This month Scrap the Girls had a recipe challenge. The ingredients were:

2 or more photos, 

flowers

2 different alphas

staples (mine are on the pink paper underneath the word cherish and on the orange pp near the end)

Here is my interpretation. 

White with 1 October challenge

The October challenge over at White with 1 was to use white, yellow and stars. Below is my creation. I used my homemade star stencil again for this and some yellow paint. I've also used some yellow starry washi tape,   some goodies from Purple Pumpkin - a spotty button, a vinyl tag and some yellow tickets. I've also used a journalling spot from Dlish scraps and a metal button and yellow chevron bag from Greatest View. The smiley tape is from WRMK which I've had for a while and seemed perfect for this page.

Scrap the Boys Oct challenge

The October challenge at Scrap the Boys was to scrap about your boys favourite book or series. Robert has never been much of a reader especially of fiction preferring computer manuals. However in Grade 4 he began to read the Narnia series and really enjoyed it. In fact he ended up bringing on holiday with him and reading whenever he could. (The only time this has ever happened!)

I have used a mix of October Afternoon Report Card pp and embellishments and Kaisercraft Class of 87 pp.

Another Scrapbook Savvy CC layout

Last week I managed to also get the Tara's colour challenge done for the Scrapbook Savvy CC. The challenge was to use grey, pink and kraft - perfect colours to go with these photos of Smidge my adopted kitten.
