Show Us Your Stuff Sept Challenge 2

The second SUYS challenge this month was to do a multi-photo layout, use striped paper and of course some handmade embellishments. I also had a go at the try this technique which was the felt flower in the bottom left hand corner. My other handmade embellishments include a PP spotted button, an Eye Candy rabbit button and a My Little Whimsy ladybird.

Scrap the Girls Sept Challenge

I had so much fun doing my last layout that I decided to do another one in a similar vein. This was for Scrap the Girls Sept challenge which had the criteria to use CLIPS - I used a yellow bulldog clip on the side of my photo.

Purple Pumpkin Sept Challenge

The challenge this month was to include 1 lollipop/flower, 2 doilies and 3 buttons. Here is my take: I used a green bird, pink owl and green spotty button, a pink and green doily and a blue lollipop flower. Pattern paper used was a mixture of American Craft and Bella Boulevard.

Can't believe how many layouts I've done so far this month. Here are another 4.

This was for the sketch challenge over at Anna's Craft Cupboard. I used some photos from DD's footy day at school last year.


Second up is a layout done for the August kit challenge over at Scrapbook Savvy using the We Savvy Kit. I'm loving the new MME Lost and Found 2. The criteria for this challenge was to use a curved title, fussy cutting and paint.


Another layout for a Scrapbook Savvy comp. This is for Septembers Wordy challenge to use the word BIG. Found this chipboard title in my stash so thought I'd use it. Have used Crate Paper Toybox pp and accesories.


Finally, this is for another challenge at Challenge Heaven. This is for the ebony or ivory challenge which was to use black or white with orange and green and have 3 circles. I have used a couple of Billies Buttons that I bought at the Scrapbooking Top50 Crafters Market earlier this month. Also used a Limetree Creations doily.

Scrapbooking Top 50 Sept challenges

I've managed to get 2 of the challenges over at Scrapbooking Top50 done already this month.

The first is for Sue's challenge which was to scrap about an important adult male in your life and the added criteria was to include at least one button and something that was non scrappy. I scrapped about DH and his love for photography. My non scrappy items were a clothes tag and a wooden frame which was a waste part of a wooden model kit DD was constructing.


My second layout is for Anthea's challenge which was to use blue and red as dominant colours on your layout. Lots of Purple Pumpkin and Chip Chop Shop goodies on this layout.

A couple of layouts

for challenges over at Challenge Heaven

This first one is for the Title challenge. You had to include the word dad or father in the title and include the extra criteria of 2 types of alpha.

The second layout is for the Theme challenge #1 which was to scrap about a ride and include the extra criteria of buttons. This is DS's first ride on a roller coaster on our first holiday with him to the UK. He looked very apprehensive. He was only 15months old. Ten years later he went on the Pepsi Max roller coaster at Blackpool which was certainly a lot faster and had a massive drop on it.

Once upon a...Sketch Sept 1 sketch

Decided to have a go at the Sept 1st sketch over at Once upon a... sketch. The added criteria was to use a year as the title.

And here is my take. This is my first attempt at scrapbooking any of my wedding photos. I've used a mish mash of pp from Websters, Pink Paislee and Echo Park and also included some gates and flourishes from Kaisercraft and some bloomer ribbon from American Craft.
