Scrapbook Boutique May Challenge

It's a while since I made any cards. This one was for the May challenge over at Scrapbook Boutique here. The criteria was to use stitching. I used some Basic Grey Green at Heart pp and Green Tara ribbon and hand stitched around my sentiment tag.

Purple Pumpkin May Challenge

I decided to have a go at the May challenge over at Purple Pumpkin. Well, I certainly have enough buttons to choose from.
This is the sketch we had to use.


And here is my take. I used the firemen buttons with a red spotty button as well.

Show Us Your Stuff May Challenge No. 1

Finally managed to get some photos taken in sunlight. Here is my take on the first challenge over at Show Us Your Stuff this month. The criteria was to use ribbon, lace or trim.

I have used some truck ribbon and also some homemade goodies - the bottle top with a truck on, the felt star embellishment and the corrugated cogs and stars are homemade. Some of these featured in my truck embellishment kit I was selling over at Scrapbooking Top 50.

May 123 challenge

The criteria for this months 123 challenge were: Use the word 'FUN', have a stitched title and use the colour fire-engine red. Here is my take. I have used lots of red including some giant red ric rac I found in my stash. I hand stitched the word fun, which is part of the title. I also used some felt embellishments that I am selling at the Crafters Market in the forum at Scrapbooking Top50 on Friday.

It's on again next Friday 13th. Last time was my first time selling stuff and I was pleasantly surprised how much sold. I will be selling again with some new stuff - corrugated card shapes. I also have some new felt and fabric embellishments. Haven't got any sneak peeks yet.

Once upon a sketch May 1st challenge

First up this month I decided to have a go at the Once upon a Sketch 1st May challenge. This is the sketch I used and the added criteria was to journal on a journalling spot.
