Joint Stuck?!Sketches and Scrap Our Stash September Challenge

I did this layout earlier in the month but as I am working 3 days a week in Melbourne at the moment plus working from home I don't seem to have much time for blogging etc, but after finishing another 2 layouts last night I am determined to get them all blogged tonight.
First up is one for the joint Stuck?!Sketches  Sept 1st sketch and Scrap Our Stash Stash Challenge #30, which was to use items beginning with the letters that make up LAYERS.

Here is my effort:

Some photos from our holiday to the Gold Coast last December. Eleanor and I had our photo taken with Foghorn Leghorn at Movie World.

Here are a couple of close ups:

My stash items are:
L = Leaves
A = American Crafts (the yellow background paper) and arrow
Y = Yellow
E = Enamel dots
R = Rhinestones
S = Stickers, Stitching, Spray

And here is the sketch it is based on:

Thanks for looking.

Scrap Your Stash Challenge #28

This months challenge at Scrap Your Stash is to create a layout which includes items beginning with the letters P-H-O-T-O-S.
Here is my take using a photo of me and Eleanor when we fed the meerkats at Melbourne Zoo last in 2013. :

I dug deep into my stash and came up with the following items:
P = Paper frill from Doodlebug
H =  Heart from Charms Creations
O = Opalettes embossing powder which I used to cover my chipboard
T = Twine
O = Overlay
S = Stickers

Scrap Our Stash May challenge #14

 Today I have a layout to share for the Stash Challenge #14 at Scrap Our Stash featuring lots of FWAB adhesive pearls. The challenge is to include something old (older than 6 months) something new (less than 6 months old), something fussy cut and something blue.
 My daughter has been a big fan of the Western Bulldogs for many years but had never been to see a live footy match. Over Easter her best friend, who comes from a family of avid Bulldogs fans invited her to go to the footy with them. She enjoyed the match even though the Bulldogs lost.
My something old was the journal spot and material that I bought from D-lish Scraps for Australia Day 2013. My something new was the Charms Creations Star, my something fussy cut was the zig zag cut from chevron paper and I used lots of blue.

I used lots of FWAB adhesive pearls in bluered and pearl.
Here are some close ups:

Don’t forget you can get packs of these adhesive pearls for just $1.25 this month as there is 50% off for the whole of May.
