The July challenge over at Lime Tree Creations was to scrap a holiday layout and of course include some Lime Tree Creations. I scrapped these photos of DS in the pool on holiday in Renmark last year. I have included 2 crocheted flowers under the Purple Pumpkin fish buttons.

Scrapz.biz 3rd weekly challenge
Last week I had the Paint a rainbow colour challenge to set and the theme was Pamper me. I decided to create my own citrus pamper pack colours of lemon, lime and orange.

And here is the sample I created. I also set the added criteria of having to wrap something on your layout. I wrapped some twine around my frame.

Out of the Hat July challenge
The challenge this month was to have negative space, a doiley and a monochromatic layout with white and black allowed. I went with the brown theme again as I have a lot of photos of trees at the moment as we've been out bushwalking a bit. These are of the Otways where we went on the tree top walk a couple of weeks a go.

I managed to poke in a little brown doiley which I coloured with glimmermist.

Scrapbook Boutique latest challenge
I decided to play along with the latest challenge over at Scrapbook Boutique
which was to create a project with a Christmas theme. I decided to scrap this photo of DD and her special Christmas ornament, which has her name on it. I found it on a trip to the UK.

Why not have a go yourself. There is a $30 voucher up for grabs and the comp ends 31st July.

Get Picky July sketch challenge
This sketch challenge went up this morning at Get Picky. I had 3 photos waiting to be scrapped on my desk so that was perfect.
Here is the sketch:

And here is my interpretation. I now seem to be stuck in browns, krafts and naturals. Just seem to have a lot of photos at the moment which go with this combo.

My second challenge at Scrapz.biz
My 2nd Guest Designer challenge is up at Scrapz.biz This week I had to set the Fetch a Sketch challenge with the theme 'Oh No!'. This was my first time creating a computer generated sketch. Anyway here it is.

I added the extra criteria to include splatters of ink or paint as if you had had an accident.
And here is my sample using products from the shop: Bo Bunny Barefoot and Bliss, Jillibean Soup Gazpacho Soup and Little Yellow Bicycle Sweet Summertime. I also used some more of that devine Websters Bloomers.
My favourite layout
Purple Pumpkin is running a comp to be a guest designer. All details can be found on their blog but basically you have to link to your favourite layout and mention PP. It was a difficult decision choosing my favourite but I think this one is my all time favourite. I love bright colours and I just love the flow of the layout. I used a Purple Pumpkin apple button too!!

Scrapbooking Top 50 CC challenge 4
I've been a bit slack uploading pages in the past couple of months. I think I've forgotten to upload quite a few so think I will try and upload as I do them.
This one is for the current CC at Scrapbooking Top 50 Theme 'Lights, Camera, Action' . Challenge 4 is to scrap a close up photo that is 4x7. I took this one of DD last week on a day trip to the Otways and was itching to scrap it so this challenge worked out perfectly.

I have used quite a mix of things - Hambly transparency, Hambly washi tape, Hambly sticker, Bella Boulevard pp, Old Prima flowers, Jillibean Soup corrugated frame, Some old Bella cork borders, Tim Holtz ticket, some Prima packaging, an old handmade journal spot that I got in a swap a few years ago, purple doily and ribbon, made up flower out of a mini crochet flower, a piece of hessian and a Kaisercraft button.

My first challenge at Scrapz.Biz
Well, my first challenge as guest designer for July is up at Scrapz.biz The weekly challenge theme was Hard Yakka and I had to set the inspiration challenge. I chose an album from Men at Work - Cargo and asked everyone to pick some inspiration from the cover.

Here is my sample. I took inspiration from the palm trees and the beach and sea. Heidi sent me a mix of Bo Bunny Barefoot and Bliss, Jillibean Soup Watermelon Gazpacho Soup and Little Yellow Bicycle Sweet Summertime pp to work with. Along with the gorgeous Websters Page Bloomers. I also used a Lime Tree Creations daisy.
