Frosted Designs Spring has sprung challenge

Second post today. I managed to make another pop up card this afternoon in time for the Frosted Designs Spring has Sprung Challenge. The challenge was to use at least 3 things from this list

I made a pop up card and managed to use - bunny, jellybeans (on balloons), green card, rainbow, clouds, umbrellas, birds (on pp), yellow, blue.
I'm afraid it's a pretty crappy photo as the sun had gone down by the time I came to photograph it so had to use a flash. Will post some close ups tomorrow.

I used Doodlebug Springtime pp and stickers.
Here are some day time photos of same card.

Thanks for looking.

Frosted Designs Punctuation challenge

Today I have a layout to share that I completed for the Frosted Designs punctuation challenge which was to include punctuation of any kind somewhere on your project. I chose to use yellow foam brackets.  I used Kaisercraft Confetti pp and embellishments and also used  just one FWAB Grace pearl flourish in rose pink and one FWAB Jack vine in green which have been cut up into several pieces and strategically placed around my page.

Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge - winter blues

Good morning and welcome to February and a new batch of challenges. I decided to have a go at the Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge - winter blues which was based on a mood board full of blues and whites. I wasn't feeling very wintery as it is in the high 30C's here so used the colours and created a birthday page. I love this photo of my DS. Where has this little boy gone!
I loved playing with straws last month on another challenge so decided to use some more on this layout as it went well with the theme.

Products used:
Jillibean Soup Owl Soup patterned paper, stickers, journalling sprouts and diecuts
Jillibean Soup alphas
Jillibean Soup place mat
Jillibean Soup twine
Kaisercraft background stamp
Flourish With A Bling pearls
Straws
Ric Rac

And here are some close ups

And here is the mood board:

I used blues and white with a touch of green and yellow. I also included a bird (owl).

Thanks for looking.
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and hopes it's not too hot (or cold) where you are.

Stuck Sketches Jan challenge #1 and Frosted Designs

Good evening. First layout down for 2014. I decided to enter the combined Stuck Sketches and Frosted Designs challenge, which was to use the Stuck Sketch and to use either, paint, ink or mist or a combination of the three. I used ink through a stencil and in the form of stamping using a Kaisercraft stamp. I also splattered a bit of red mist around the page. On Christmas Day I managed to persuade the family to cooperate in a Christmas photo shoot. These are some of the photos of my 2 kids mucking around. I again used Glitz Designs Finnley.

And here are some close ups:

And here is the sketch on which this layout is based :

Frosted Designs Fabulous Friday challenge - Tag you're it

This morning I have a very girly layout to share with you. I have teamed up some Kaisercraft True Romance pp with some Purple Pumpkin embellies for the current Frosted Designs challenge using tags. I placed several tags behind my photo and used a tag to include details about the photo plus there was a tag on the patterned paper.

I just rediscovered this photo last week, when I took a photo out of a frame to scan. This was behind it. This was taken of my daughter 15 years ago.

Now for some close ups of my Purple Pumpkin embellies.
Here I have used a sweet floral fabric button

A cute little fawn fabric button.

A vintage rocking horse flair button, a pink fabric flower and dotted around I have some light pink  twine bows.

I mixed some pink paint with texture paste  and used with  a Kaisercraft template.

A pink crocheted doily peaking out.

Thanks for looking.
