Studio 75 Challenge #2 and Scrap Africa challenge no. 45

Back for the third time today! Just getting my layouts in before the end of the month. I loved the sketch over on Studio 75 when I saw in on a friends blog so had to give it a go and I also ended up using quite a lot of diecuts which was the challenge at Scrap Africa so decided to enter in both.

Here is my take:

I created a background using watercolour, and Glimmermist - twilight and graphite. I used lots of diecuts from the Kaisercraft Off the Wall collectables. I added some rub ons, stamping and doodling to create my strips behind my photo. Added some stencilling using Viva Decor Ferro Graphite and a Kaisercraft stencil.
Here's a couple of close ups:

Scrap Africa Challenge No. 29 His and Her Cards

The latest challenge at Scrap Africa was to produce a set of his and her cards. I recently bought some of the latest Doodlebug Hip Hooray and Sugar Shoppe and decided to create a couple of cards using these 2 lines as one is male orientated and one female.

Here's my two cards:

As you might realise now, I like to do a little bit extra on my cards so these actually have stand up items in the middle.

So here's some close ups of the boy card

And the inside.

I stuck some of the Doodlebug stickers to strips of acetate so that they stand up when the card is opened.

And now for the girl card:

Scrap Africa Sketch Challenge No. 26

Hi, today I have a layout I created for the sketch challenge over at Scrap Africa. February is the month of love so I thought I’d scrap a wedding photo as I think I have only scrapped one previously.

Scrap Africa sketch challenge no. 25

Despite it being well over 40C outside and probably over 30 C in my scrap room I managed to scrap my second page for the week. Well, it's too hot to do anything outside so why not scrap?!
Just getting this one in before the deadline, I decided to do the Scrap Africa sketch challenge. I've been enjoying playing with Twinkling H2O's recently so used them for the background and again used some Viva Decor stone art texture paste.

Here are some close ups - flowers from Kaisercraft, Manor House and Prima.

Alphas from Jillibean Soup and Prima with a wood veneer camera from Studio Calico.

Another look at the texture paste and flowers with a Freckled Fawn wood veneer saying.

and here is the sketch my page was based on:
