Final batch of baby pages

Here are the final batch of layouts I did for Baby Month over at Scrapz.biz.
This first layout was for a challenge to include photos of bath fun and also use circles, yellow and a multi alpha title. I used some October Afternoon Ducks in a Row to fill in the circles and nearly a whole packet of Kaiser epoxy circles for the blue dots.

This layout was for a challenge to scrap some baby memorabilia and to include bling, buttons and scallops. I scrapped about my son's teddy - Buffy.
I've used Echo Park This and That Charming for this one.

Next layout was for a challenge to scrap first year milestones and include at least 2 photos. I'm loving the trend to use hexagons so had a go with some and  I used up some MME in the process.

My final layout was for a quote challenge. I decided to use the quote 'I love you to the moon and back'. This is the first photo of DS and me. I have used Bella Boulevard We're Expecting pp for this one.
Finally, a few pages of an OTP challenge I did - Baby stats. I created a page for each of use.

Some more baby pages

Well, I've got another 3 pages done for the Baby Month challenges over at Scrapz.biz.
This first one was for Aga's banner and bunting sketch challenge. It was a great way to use up lots of scraps and I love banners anyway.

This layout was for the challenge to scrap an ultrasound picture. I have used Cosmo Cricket Togetherness for this.

Finally this was a nursery inspiration challenge to use one of the pictures of nursery's shown for inspiration.

DS's baby album is sure moving a long now.

It's baby month

over at Scrapz.biz with a month of baby related challenges. I have managed to get 3 done so far. I've decided to concentrate on scrapping pages of DS as I realised I have done very few. DH has been very kind and scanned in all the negatives from photos of DS from 0-1. It's amazing how different they are to the photos we have and how we are now able to tweak them to look better.

This first layout was for a sketch challenge which also had to include a bird or animal and some border punching. I used up some more of my favourite MME Fine and Dandy.
This second layout was for a challenge to write about a birth story and include a pocket to include the journalling. This time I used some Echo Park This and That Charming.

This 3rd layout was for a challenge to do a layout about the name choices you'd made for your child. I used some Oct Afternoon for this.

Last March layouts

Well I managed 13 layouts for March and 10 of them were for the challenges over at Scrapz.biz! Here is the last one I did for those challenges. Last week the challenges were all based on chipboard. This one is for the What's Cooking challenge, where you had to include nude chipboard, altered chipboard and photos smaller than 4x6. I decided on doing a double as I had so many photos of DS when he did the Green Challenge at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary last December.

This layout was for Kerryn's Manufacturer Challenge over at Scrapbook Savvy. The manufacturer for March was October Afternoon and the extra criteria was to use chipboard. I used up some very old OA Daydream journalling cards and die cuts.

Finally, 2 layouts for sketch challenges. This one was for the sketch challenge over at Handmade by Suzanne. Not sure I really liked the end result of this. The papers seemed a perfect match for the shirt DS was wearing but I think it needs something else and I couldn't figure out what.
Finally, my entry for the sketch challenge over at Anna's Craft Cupboard.

More Scrapz.biz challenge layouts

This month I seem to have been inspired by the challenges over at Scrapz.biz. I haven't felt really inclined to scrap any other challenges. I think it's because they have been product challenges and it has made me use up items that have just been sitting in my stash. Also I'm a bit disillusioned, having won a number of challenges and never received the prizes.
Two weeks ago the challenges were all base on brads. This first layout was for the Scrap Write Now challenge which was to feature brads and journalling in dot points. I used Echo Park and some MME pp here and some new washi tape that I purchased from Dlish Scraps. They have a great range and fantastic prices.

This second layout was for Aga's sketch challenge again incorporating some brads. I've used Crate Paper pps and embellies here and a heap of brads.

This third layout was for the Scrap It Blind challenge for the week using rub ons.

This layout was for the Base Jump rubon challenge. This is where you are given a base and can add any extras.

Last weeks challenges all featured flowers. I don't use flowers as much as I used too so have enjoyed doing some really girly pages. This first one was for the Scrap it Blind challenge and I have used the new Kaisercraft Tiger Lily pps. I love this colour combo. I managed to use 28 flowers on this layout. The brown flowers are made up of 4 paper flowers stuck together and scrunched up to look like rose buds.

Another girly layout. This time for the Base Jump challenge. I have used Kaisercraft Miss Nellie for this one.
This was for the Scrap Write Now challenge which was to include a quote as the title. My quote rather took over the page and didn't leave me much room for flowers. I managed to add a few to the base of the sign and to DD's hair in the photo.
The final layout for today is for the Scrap a Rainbow challenge which was to use the colours - pink, red, aqua and green and to of course include flowers. This was my Basic Grey layout for the month. I have used Olivia pps and stickers and some BG pipecleaner flowers. I also used a 3 Bugs in a Rug banner and Purple Pumpkin button.

Well done if you got to the end of all these layouts. Should try and update more often!

Some Scrapz.biz weekly challenges

I've been playing along with some of the weekly challenges at Scrapz.biz. Last week was all about using rub ons.
This first layout was for Fetch a Sketch based on a sketch by Sheree. I finally broke into my October Afternoon Sidewalks pp. I used some rubons undet the clusters and rub on lady bugs and for one word in the title.

This second layout was also for the rubon challenges but was for Scrap a Rainbow. The colours were brown, green, red and yellow. I managed to use up quite a few rubons here.

Finally, this is from the previous week which featured tape in the challenges. This was for Sheree's Scrap it Blind. I used some Hambly washi woodgrain washi tape.

Rest of February layouts

Thought I better get the rest of my February layouts uploaded as March is now upon us. I managed to get 18 layouts done this month.

This first layout was for the manufacturer challenge over at Scrapbook Savvy which was to use Crate Paper and include a heart on the layout. It's another Queensland holiday layout! I used Crate Paper's Random range for this.

It's been a while since I managed to get any of the Challenge Heaven  challenges done but I managed 2 this month. This first one was for Becci's challenge which was to scrap about an accident or where somebody was hurt and include stitching on the layout. This is DS when he was 16 months on our holiday in the UK. He fell over and got a stone lodged in his eyebrow. Thankfully he didn't need stitches but it did leave a scar. I have used Echo Park Playground for this layout.

This layout was for Donna's quote challenge which was to include a quote about sibling relationships. I got to use some Paper Inklings rubons that were just perfect for this. The patterned paper is from Sassafras Lass.

This next one was for the cybercrop over at Scrapbooking Top50. The challenge was to have a word as the title and include a dictionary definition on the page.
Finally, another page I did for one of the weekly challenges over at Scrapz.biz. This was Fetch a Sketch challenge and you had to include paint on your layout. I used some more Basic Grey on this one.
