Some more graduation layouts

I think I've got my scrapping mojo back. It always seems to come back once I start scrapping again - it's just the starting that's the problem.

Here are 2 layouts both based on photos of DD's graduation from primary school back in December and both using Bo Bunny Winter Joy pp, which matched the dress perfectly.

The first is for the January 123 challenge which was to use purple, punches and the word Beautiful.

The second is for the Scrapbook Top 50 January Celebration CC which is on at the moment. Vicki's challenge was to use either punches or paint for P, arrows or acetate for A, rhinestones or ribbon for R, tape or tab for T and yellow or the word 'You' in the title for Y.

Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch Jan #1

Here is my take on the Kaisercraft Saturday Sketch January #1 using the Seaside collection. I wasn't too sure about this collection at first but it has grown on me and was perfect for these shots of DS buried in the sand at Queenscliffe over Christmas.

Show us your stuff Jan No.1 challenge

Here is my take on the first Jan challenge over at Show us your stuff
It is based on the sketch provided by Michelle Fowler and includes a organza ribbon handmade flower made by Chris Wormald.

Rest of my December layouts

I seem to have lost my scrapping mojo at the moment. Maybe it's because DH has been at home and we have been concentrating on some renovations. We rebuilt our kitchen cupboard and redid the decking at the front of the house.

This first layout was for the recent CC at Scrapbook Savvy. The criteria was to include: 12 photos (one for each month) to represent 2010 at a glance; include chipboard, ribbon or string and buttons.

The second layout was for the Dec sketch at Handmade by Suzanne. I used some WRMK Vintage Blue pp.

Thirdly, another layout for Scrapbook Savvy for the ABC challenge which was the letter P. Extra criteria was pleating and paint. This is my DD dressed up for her ballet concert.

This one was for the Dec sketch challenge at Anna's Craft Cupboard. DS was lucky that the scout breakup party was on his 14th birthday so he got to go roller skating.
Finally, one for the Dec sketch at Scrapbook Savvy. Another cat layout. This time DD is dressed up for Halloween.

Kraft it Up

I love this challenge blog but haven't got around to completing the challenge lately. Well, I managed it this month and here is my entry for December. The criteria was to use non traditional Xmas colours and knots and of course kraft. I used Crate Paper Snow Day.

Bad blogger

Haven't felt in the mood for blogging recently. I have been scrapping away here and there and have a few lo's to share.

The first is for the kit challenge at Scrapbook Savvy. I used the We Savvy kit which had lots of Cosmo Cricket Circa 1934 pp in it. As I have quite a few photos from the 1930's I decided to use one of them. The criteria for this challenge was to include a banner, staples, and an outlined title.

Second up is a layout I did for another challenge at Scrapbook Savvy. This time it was to include some purple on a layout. DD had her graduation last week and we took literally hundreds of photos of her all done up in her dress and with her hair done up. I just had to scrap a few of my favourite photos and as she was wearing a purple dress this challenge was perfect. I used some Bo Bunny Winter Joy pp and a large Prima swirl which I'd been keeping for a special occasion.

Finally, I managed to get Vicki's sketch challenge done using some Echo Park Summertime pp.

I have done a few more layouts but haven't got around to photographing them and downloading them onto my computer. Hopefully will get that done tomorrow.

Only another 2 for November

Well, I only managed a grand total of5 layouts for November. Hopefully, will have plenty more time next month as I finish work on 9th Dec as DS finishes school next week. Looking forward to the holidays.

So here are the other 2 layouts I managed. The first was for the sketch challenge over at Anna's Craft Cupboard. Used up some old Crate Paper - Bliss (which is one of my favourites).
Second up, is a LO for the Royal Cybercrop over at Scrapboutique. I've started scrapping some of the photos of DS when he was a baby/toddler (He will be 14 later this month). I used some more of MME True Blue pp and accessories.
